I'm a short, blonde Canadian with a tall British husband and we have an energetic young man that the Lord has entrusted us with raising. I love to read and study. I've never been one for trusting my "instincts" so I research everything and then process it and then write about it so that I can cement it in my understanding. Currently, I'm a homeschool mom, I teach piano, and do social media work. I live with a chronic heart condition that limits a lot of what I do - but it has allowed me time to write and think. The more I read and study - the more I want to grow closer to the Lord and to bring The Word of God into our daily lives. My goal is to be intentional in order to redeem the time. Of course - no bio would be complete without mentioning that most posts will be written in the wonderful company of my sweet, furry sidekick, George P. Schwiggly the Third.
Walking with the Lord is always an exciting journey and mine has taken me through ...
  • leukemia
  • heart failures
  • multiple hospitalizations
  • two international moves
  • four churches in 5 years
  • seven changes of address in 8 years
  • depression
  • marriage struggles
  • parenting
  • church closures
.... just to name a few. I'm still on the journey and He is faithful! He's not given up on me yet.

Zephaniah 3:17 - The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult oer you with loud singing.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Job 23:10 - Though I am tried, I will come forth as gold.
